A Longstanding Tradition of Academic Excellence
Bryan College, originally Bryan Stenotype School, was established in 1940 by Dr. Mildred T. Bryan in central Los Angeles. That the college began as a single classroom with three students is a testament to Dr. Bryan’s drive to train qualified stenographers, pushing the development and advancement of the court reporting industry.
In 2005, with a new campus, Bryan College introduced new programs to support its brand, maintain its legacy and continue to support its core student and employer focused values. New programs continued to support Bryan’s mission of allowing students to gain marketable skills that result in employment. Bryan College is nationally accredited by ACICS, is recognized as a College of Distinction and is approved by the Department of Education.
To further differentiate itself from other higher learning institutions, Bryan takes a unique approach to virtual online distance education as well. As the learning environment evolves, so too does Bryan with virtual classrooms. Bryan’s Phoenix-based education production facility produces engaging, interactive coaching environments that help students accelerate and retain knowledge. Today, our students attend virtual classrooms from many states.
Most recently, Bryan College became Bryan University receiving university status offering graduate programs in E-Discovery and Health Informatics. Advisory board members and faculty for these programs include highly recognized, leading U.S. industry executives and professionals. Bryan has the foundation to excel and become ranked as a top tier university in its program offerings.
Our history dictates that with our focus on student success and forward thinking, we will continue to be recognized for excellence in education.
